About Us

Key Club International is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. We are a community service organization where we serve our home, school, and community. Key Club has approximately 260,000 members in approximately 5,000 clubs and we're just one of them.

So why are we called "Key Club"? No, Key Clubbers don’t actually make keys, but we do hold the key to opening doors for others through our service. Our goal is to motivate individuals to contribute to the lives of others. The core values of Key Club International are leadership, character building, caring and inclusiveness.

"Anyone interested in getting more community service hours, or would just simply like to help out our community, is welcome to join! And it's also a great club to meet new people from all around the Bay Area--and eventually, even Key Clubbers from California, Nevada, and Hawaii! Key Club isn't about "making keys", and it's not just "that one Asian club". It's an amazing source of opportunity that could very well change your life, and there will be many events that will give you very memorable experiences, and I promise you, they will be ones you'll never forget. So if anyone is interested in joining, please contact our officers or recruiting members as soon as possible! Thank you! (: " - Carmen Tang, Class of 2014

Our meetings are every other Monday at lunch in Mr. Smith's room, Room 309.  Come join us and you'll soon understand and experience the wonders of Key Club.
